Colligan Adventures

I hate waking up in the morning. I don't usually wake up until after 8.

We have a cat. She can be way annoying way too early.

This morning she was playing with a book and meowing on my side of the bed.
So after hitting her with a pillow a few times. I looked to see what she was doing. I move the book and then i saw what looked like a hair tie in the carpet.

Thankfully, instead of touching it. I woke Brian up....

We looked at it and he grabbed a pair of tweezers. He started to pull on the "hair tie" and it sprouted a tail. At that point we both realize it's a snake. With it's head stuck in the carpet. I mean stuck in the carpet. we have shag carpeting and it was trying to burry itself as deep as it could go. So we had NO idea how big this thing was with just it's tail sticking out. And we were afraid it would scurry off and we'd never sleep again.

Long story short, after some freaking out and going to get the kitchen tongs. This is what we caught.

Little brown snake. Still gives me the heebee jeebies. Thankfully because we keep the basement so cold, it wasn't able to move fast. And the cat totally clawed some holes in it. *Good kitty*

27 Weeks

How far along? I really am 27 weeks! 

Total weight gain/loss:  15 lbs. :( I was soo upset when I saw that. I need to stop eating Halloween Candy.... Yet here comes the Christmas season

 Maternity clothes? yes, but not all the time.
Stretch marks? not yet.
Sleep:  good, mostly.
Best moment this week:   the pastor bought me a Christmas Tree for my office! We're going to decorate the office.
Miss Anything? not having charlie horses. I had a mini one today again.
Movement: holy cow, he doesn't have a lot of room so i feel EVERYTHING. and it hurts 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  nope
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? It's flat
Wedding rings on or off? On. but i can tell it's getting harder.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I dont now ask my husband
Looking forward to:  tomorrow is the Lundeen Thanksgiving, Super excited! (actually it was yesterday, but i wrote this on friday)

Ok, I Have big plans for the next two weeks. It's thanksgiving which means i have a green light to listen to music in the company of my husband and decorate our house. However. Currently our living space looks like this.

I've been trying to get all of our left over crap from up stairs. I come down the stairs and dump it in little boo's area. Also we just bought Love Sac. So we're saying goodbye to our old free couch we got. Also, there is nothing on the walls. My plan on December 1st, is to decorate for Christmas, or at least start it. SO this means. that everything has to be cleaned, put away, and I have to have stuff on the walls. This also means that I need to build shelves to put decorations on. Why yes, I am crazy. Also, I'm going to decorate the office for Christmas.

Good times. Well stay posted. I will keep you updated as to my progress. Which might be nothing.

26 Weeks

ok, I REALLY am 26 weeks this week. But tomorrow I'm 27 weeks.

How far along? 26 weeks

Total weight gain/loss:  not sure, but I go to the Dr. tomorrow.  

 Maternity clothes? yes, but not all the time. this dress is not maternity.
Stretch marks? not yet.
Sleep:  good, mostly.
Best moment this week:   is it weird if I said I've had a good week at work?
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? not having an alien in my stomach
Movement: holy cow, he doesn't have a lot of room so i feel EVERYTHING. and it hurts 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  nope
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? It's flat
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: probably moody.
Looking forward to:  tomorrow's dr.'s appointment and a date with  my baby dadddy. 

I've decided that every day I wake up, and every day I make it through with out going into labor is worthy of Praising God. I'm being completely serious. Yes, If I said I didn't have anxiety about labor, I'd be lying. But I'm talking about poppin' this baby out before he's ready. Somebody I only know by name had twins at 24 weeks. </3. They are doing well in the NICU - but still how absolutely nerve racking that would be. So yes, any day I make it through, is a good day.

I've also decided that I have a lot to do between now and christmas. which means now and December 1st. I want to buy shelves and get all of our pictures hung before the 1st. So when the 1st comes. I can decorate for christmas with out any issues.

I've also decided I'm making my own stockings and ornaments this year. Don't worry. I'll post pictures. Although again, it's not like it's my own idea. I believe in plagiarism.

Ok thats all for now. Maybe tomorrow I"ll post again with a 27 week picture. But it will look the same. Just a different outfit. :)

25 weeks

ok. So sorry that it's been.... along long time since I did one of these posts. I just haven't had time. And Brian hates taking these photos.

How far along?  technically today i'm 26 weeks, but we'll just pretend i'm not.

Total weight gain/loss:  last time I went to the dr. I had gained 5 lbs from my original weight.  

 Maternity clothes? yes, However. I'll have you know yesterday at church I wore my skinny jeans and ridiculously high heals.
Stretch marks? No, and every day I thank the Lord.... (no but really)
Sleep:  good, mostly.
Best moment this week:  This past week......? Not sure
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? being able to bend over without grunting
Movement: YUP! He's got little bony appendages. 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  currently the smell of the fridge. but it needs to be cleaned out.
Have you started to show yet:  yes. but thankfully i'm not a whale yet. 
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? technically it's in. but it's more flat than in.
Wedding rings on or off? On. and I've decided that I'm going to get a fakeo ring for when i can't wear them any more.
Happy or Moody most of the time: probably moody. But for good reason.
Looking forward to: today's date. The first real, non-rushed date brian and I have had for weeks because of soccer. 

Soccer Season is officially over tonight after we have the awards ceremony. I had a lot of fun. If I find a picture of myself, I'll post it. But I doubt legally I can show the faces of the girls. 

I'm debating on if I want maternity pictures taken and who and when I want them to be done.

anyway, thats really all I have.
